Learning to blog is an art form that will, over time, allow you to write professional articles on your WordPress blog and successfully rank those pages in Google over a period of time.

There are many search engine optimisation techniques out there that have been researched by many different SEO companies and agencies. The skills that I have learnt over the many years that I have been ranking websites and in particular ranking blog posts have come from years of experience, hundreds of hours of research and experimentation.

I have successfully managed to rank over 500 pieces of content on the first page of Google for many different companies and individuals hoping to tap into the power of SEO and its many benefits.

Getting any web page, website or article onto the first page of Google takes time, patience and the willingness to learn. If you have all three of those characteristics then read on.

There are literally hundreds of major and minor technical aspects to writing a blog post. But I’ve simplified the process in my video. Basically, if you follow my step for article writing, your website will start to rank over time.

SEO does not happen overnight.

Think of Google as an information machine. It gathers information from all across the web. Billions of indexed pages and websites with junk writing and also very relevant and informative information.

It has to process or sort through all that data and produce the most relevant and engaging content first on the first page. Because that is what Google is all about. Giving the user the best possible search results and the best possible user experience.

User Experience Is The New Ranking Factor

You need to write content that is engaging, easy to read, on topic, relevant, and answers peoples questions. Give them the answer they are looking for, for the search query they searched for to get to your article. Write naturally, like you are talking to your audience in person. Add some humour, be personal but informative. User experience is the new ranking factor.

WordPress Blog Writing

WordPress is a great platform to learn all about blog writing. It was initially designed for this purpose, but over the many years and many revisions and updates, has become the most popular CMS (content management system) on the planet.

WordPress is better than any other website builder such as Wix, Weebly or Shopify in my opinion. It has a slight learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be a pro and designing your own website and writing professional blogs in no time.

Why Is Getting Your Website To The First Page Of Google Important?

One simple reason. Marketing potential. People spend thousands of dollars a month on Google Ads. Don’t get me wrong, Google Ads if set up correctly can make you a lot of money, but having an SEO campaign implemented in conjunction with a Google Ads campaign will drive your business to success.

Both of these digital marketing strategies drive millions of sales and service enquiries around the world every day. They can decide whether a start-up business crashes within the first few months or expands internationally. They can generate revenue for your business through ongoing online marketing campaigns that grow your business to new heights.

How Can Blog Writing Help My Business?

Basically writing articles on your existing or new WordPress website will give you the opportunity to increase keywords on your website. Allowing Google to pick those keywords up and index your website more substantially across the world wide web, thereby increasing traffic and people coming to your website. The end goal is to drive traffic to your website, increasing the potential for leads and product purchases.

It All Takes Time

It’s not going to happen overnight, in a week, or even in 6 months. Building a successful online presence will take 6 – 12 months or more if correctly set up. It’s going to take a lot of effort, patience and perseverance. Starting any business venture online will require planning, strategic online marketing and money. Without these three elements, you will struggle. Get rich quick schemes are either fake or based on experience in the first place. You need to research your goals. It took me nearly 2 years before my business started to see any gains.
